Layers of the Ocean
Biologists have divided the ocean into five main layers. These layers vary from one and another awakening new wonders beneath the surface of the ocean. Each layer has different conditions and diverse life forms. Starting from the sunlight zone that touches the surface and contains visible light, to the trenches with crushing depths where finding life present itself is a mystery. The five main layers are Epipelagic, Mesopelagic, Bathypelagic, Abyssopelagic, and Hadalpelagic reaching to devastating depths of 11,000m.
97% of the ocean remains unexplored. If in these depths with no energy-giving sunlight and pressure to crush a human skull, life sustains. The origin of life itself is questioned by this.
